Teeball

We signed Lucy up for teeball. The baseball and softball community out here is outrageous. Parents and players breath the sport. I hope we never become that way. If Lucy loves it, which she does, we'll continue to put her in it. We'll support her and help her in anyway we can but I hope we never get caught up in it.

Lucy's team is the Dodgers. Her coach, Sam, is great. Ben is assistant coaching along with another dad. The stadium is full every game. They don't keep score in teeball and everyone gets a chance to hit no matter how many outs there are. The team was so funny and cute to watch the first game. The kids had no idea what they were doing. But that is what teeball is for: to teach them! The learning curve for the team has been tremendous. They really have gotten the hang of it. They understand how to hit, catch grounders and throw. They are understanding where they are supposed to be and where they are supposed to go. It has been great.

They had a parade on opening day and an open day ceremony. The whole town showed up!

She is adorable! I cannot believe how big she's gotten. I remember going to your baby shower! How fun to have her in sports!
