Christmas Card 2016

Dear family and friends,
Merry Christmas!
Lucy is 6 and in the 1st grade. This year she transferred to Grantsville Elementary to participate in their dual immersion program. She is learning French. She loves to read Flat Stanley, The Magic Tree House, and Roald Dahl books.
Jacob and Luke will turn 3 in February. Both boys were potty-trained this Summer.  Jacob is very animated, loud and loves to make us laugh. He loves to watch Thomas the Train and Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Luke is more reserved but he talks very well. He has a sweet tooth and loves sports and cars.
Ben is in his 7th year working as an engineer for Detroit Diesel in Tooele. He continues to play softball throughout the Spring/Summer months and is currently playing hockey every Saturday evening. This year he took on the task of installing hardwood floors throughout our main level and building a shed in our backyard.
I keep busy at home with the kids. I've enjoyed my morning workouts at the church gym, visiting with neighbors and friends, and decorating our newly remodeled home. I am focusing on Shakespeare and am currently reading A Midsummer Night's Dream.
We love this time of year and the opportunity we have to spread and feel the Spirit of Christ. We feel very blessed to know of His love and eternal sacrifice.

We love you all and want to wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.
Love,
Ben, Kelsey, Lucy, Jacob & Luke Shugart

Christmas Break

Ben had a whole week off of work and we loved having him home. It is always so special. We went to the movies one day and all three kids sat quietly throughout the whole movie. We saw Moana and we loved it. Ben built a snow cave. And we tried to go ice skating. The boys were not into it at all.
