I knew Lucy loved the water but I didn't fully understand how much until her swim lessons. She has had it every day for the last two weeks and she loves it. She is constantly moving in the water, playing, blowing bubbles, and sticking her face under the water while the other kids are just sitting there waiting for their turn.
She was excited to get started today!

This was her best friend in swim lessons. They were always with each other and they always sat by each other. I love the joy in this picture. It really captures how much they loved each other. She has been talking about Ronny for days and I just discovered today that was the little boys name. 
They played with each other in the baby pool for a few minutes before the end of each lesson. Lucy never played with any other kids. She always tossed things in the water and then dove in to get them. She loved submerging her face in the water.
She went down the slide with one of her teachers.
Her teachers were great with her and showed so much patience with her energy.
I wanted to start her in gymnastics this fall but I might have to put her in the next level of swim lessons instead. She was a natural. She told me that she wants to be a swim teacher when she grows up. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.
