Lucy

Lucy won an American Burger gift card in December and decided that she wanted to take her friends to get milkshakes. She was so sweet and had so much fun.

She also started fine art classes with Jackie Bird. She came home the second day with an amazing picture of a bird. I thought for sure she had traced it but she didn't! She is so talented. I've never seen her so focused and interested in anything that we have put her in before. She loves art.

Lucy had mentioned that she wanted to try soccer. We love that she wants to try new things so we signed her up. The morning of her first game she asked if there were two goals or if everyone kicks into to the same goal. Clearly, she doesn't know much about soccer. But it didn't stop her from going out there and doing her best. She was great. And she is definitely an example to me. She's not afraid to try new things and just go for it.
